For the past 15 years, my family and I have proudly called Cumberland our home, and now I’m proud to have been elected to Cumberland Council in September 2024.
Living, working and volunteering in Cumberland since 2009
Founding and running businesses in the Village
Serving on committees and working on local plans
My wife and I are committed to living here for the rest of our lives, and I want Cumberland to be a place where we, along with you, can thrive as we age. It should also be a place where our children can live, learn, work, and prosper, if they choose to.
Over the past fifteen years I’ve actively engaged in various volunteer and community service roles, just like many of you. With my knowledge and skills, I believe it’s time to contribute further by serving on the Council.
Cumberland holds a special place in our hearts. It’s a unique community, rich in spirit, and while it means something different to each of us, we all share a common desire to preserve and enhance what makes it so special.
I’m using Facebook to publish frequent news and updates. I believe that residents deserve to know who I am and what I care about. Sharing stories from my political life gives you an insight into the values that I bring to decision making at the Council table.
If you use Facebook, please Follow my page to get regular updates. If, like many, you don’t use it, you can still read most of my posts on my News Page.
Enjoy your Halloween everyone! Great parade, lovely to see the street full, and so many fantastic costumes. ... See MoreSee Less
Part of my new Councillor orientation has been tours of some of our key facilities.
Good to get behind the scenes of the recent and ongoing big investments in fire and rescue, waste water treatment, and safe drinking water supply, and to spend some time with the people who keep things running and improving.
